Chapter 10

"Wake Kimberly. We have reached. " I heard Aiden's voice. I opened my eyes. I didn't realize when I fell asleep on his shoulder. I yawned and stretched a little. Nathan opened the door for us. Aiden got out first. I was feeling reluctant to get out.

"Welcome to the Silver Claw, Alpha Aiden. " I heard that familiar voice.

I can feel Moon is getting restless because her mate is near her.

'Calm down, Moon. Remember, we have to stay strong.'

"We are glad you accepted our invitation. " Mark's filthy voice made my blood boil.

"Kim, come out." Nathan said to me.

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. I stepped out, masking my face with confidence. I stood beside Aiden.

I could feel the weight of his eyes on me. But I'm deliberately avoiding him.

"Kimberly, is that you?" Mark asked.

"Kim, you know each other?" Aiden asked.

"We are not close. " I stated with a straight face.

"Kimberly, do you have any idea how much we tried to find you. Where have you been? Brother has been searching for you everywhere. " Mark spoke again. This guy is still pretending to care about me, let alone his brother. Both are pretentious liars.

"What's going on, guys?" Nathan chimmed in.

"Kimberly is a part of our pack. She went missing a long time ago. We didn't expect Alpha Aiden to hide her from us." Mark said bitterly.

Gabriel hasn't said a word yet. But I can feel his gaze on me. He must be wondering how I survived after his perfect plan to kill me.

"I wasn’t aware that Kimberly is a part of your pack." Aiden replied. I know he must have so many questions in his mind.

"Correction Alpha, I was a part of Silver Claw. Moon Valley is my pack and family now." I said, emphasizing on "was. " It's better for these people to know I'm not a part of them anymore. And I never was. Silver Claw treated me like an outsider, and now I have fulfilled their wish.

I noticed Gabriel’s jaw hardened at my statement. Worried that you can't kill me as I'm with Aiden now? I smirked to myself.

"What nonsense are..." Mark was interrupted by Gabriel.

"Enough, Mark. We can discuss that later. Our guests must be tired after a long journey. Let them rest first." Gabriel said.

Omegas guided us towards our destined rooms. I can see the omegas whispering among themselves. I know they must be wondering how and why I'm back.

"Kimberly, is that you?" I heard that bitch again. Lara.

I chose to ignore her and kept walking.

"Do you know her kim? She is calling you." Nathan whispered.

"Ignore that bitch Nat."

"Do you have something against her?" Nathan asked.

"Kimberly, you should have told us about your connection with Silver Claw. Your reaction shows that you are not on good terms with them. We can go back if you feel uncomfortable here." Aiden said.

"That would be the last thing I want. That's why I hid from you." I sighed.

"Don’t you dare ignore me like that again, bitch." Lara pulled my arms harshly.

"Easy, lady. Leave her arm instantly, or you are going to regret it. " Nathan warned .

"I see you have grown shameless now. You even brought your fuck boy along with you. Don't think that you can use him to make Mark jealous and snatch him from me." Lara spouted nonsense.

"I'm not interested in snatching that fucker from you. You can fuck him all you want and mind your own business. Don't trouble me or my friends.Otherwise, you won't be able to handle the consequences. " I gritted my teeth.

Lara was fuming with rage. She tried to slap me, but I beat her to that. I punched her so hard that her nose broke.

"How dare you hit me? You bitch." Lara screamed hysterically as her nose was bleeding.

"What's going on here? Lara, what the hell are you doing here?" Mark asked as he and Gabriel walked at the scene.

"Mark, I'm glad you are here. This bitch is hurting me." Lara tried to play innocent.

"Just shut up, Lara. Stop creating trouble. I told you we are over. Stop coming behind me again and again. " Mark said. I smirked at Lara's foolishness. The guy who cheated on me, she was expecting him to be faithful to her.

"Alpha Gabriel, I'm afraid we can't help you. We are returning to our pack. Ever since we came here, I can see the equation between Kim and your pack are not good. I still let it slide for Kim's sake. But seeing how your pack members are disrespecting her, I can't stand here anymore. Let's go, Kim." Aiden held my hand and started walking. Nathan followed us.

"Stop, Alpha Aiden." Gabriel said. Aiden stopped and waited for Gabriel to finish.

"I'm sorry that my pack misbehaved with Kimberly. I will make sure that none of them dare to raise their voice on Kimberly, let alone their hand." Gabriel glared at Lara while saying that.

"Mark, I told you to keep your filth away from the packhouse. She even dared to disrespect Kimberly. I can't let it slide anymore. Whoever dared to speak a word against Kimberly will have to deal with the consequences. Guards throw this slut in dungeon and make sure to torture her." Gabriel roared.

My heart skipped a beat.

'He is only doing this to win favor from Aiden. Otherwise, why would he care if someone disrespects me.' I said to myself.

"Alright, I'm giving your pack a last chance. If anyone makes her uncomfortable, I'll leave instantly. She is very important to me." Aiden said. Gabriel was glaring at our intertwined hands.

"Kimberly, we need to talk." Gabriel said.

"I'm sorry, Alpha Gabriel, I'm afraid that we have nothing to talk about . If it's something related to our assistance, you can discuss it with my Alpha. "
