"We have received a request from another pack. They want our assistance in dealing with Vampires. " Nathan told everyone. We are having a meeting in Alpha's office.

"Their Alpha is one of the strongest in the werewolf world. I believe they are very much capable of dealing with it on their own. Since we have been dealing with vampire issues for a long time, he believes it would be a smarter move to learn from our experience. " Nathan continued. All the officials are listening to him carefully.

"Your description makes me believe it must be Gabriel. " Aiden spoke with amusement.

Just by hearing his name, I was frozen. It can't be. There might be some other Alpha with the same name. It's not like he is the only Gabriel in the entire world. I tried to keep myself calm.

"Yes, Alpha. It's Alpha Gabriel. Silver Claw has requested our help. He has invited us to his pack." Nathan's words hit me like a rock.

Why Now? I was finally trying to move on. Memories of Silver Claw flooded my mind.

"Kim, what's wrong? You seem unwell." Nathan pointed out. He must have noticed my expression.

"I'm alright, Gabriel. I was just thinking about something. " I said. I'm unaware of the name that just rolled down my tongue.

"You seem lost, Kimberly. Is something bothering you? You even called me Gabriel. " Nathan asked.

"I'm so sorry, Beta Nathan. I was actually thinking about the situation of Silver Claw you stated. I called you Gabriel by mistake. " I rubbed the back of my neck.

"What are your thoughts about it, Kimberly? Should we go to Silver Claw. " Aiden asked.

As much as I hate going back to Silver Claw. I can't let my personal issues spoil ties between the two packs. As much as I know Gabriel, he would hold it against Moon Valley if they denied to help him.

"You should go ahead with the request. Wiping off the vampires is our goal. Helping them will be good for us too." I suggested.

"Kimberly is right. It will also help to strengthen our ties with Silver Claw. " One of the official suggested.

"We will go ahead with it. Nathan, prepare some of our warriors to go to Silver Claw. Kimberly will come along, too." Aiden said.

"If you allow me, I would like to stay behind in the pack in your absence. I'll manage things here." I said.

"Kimberly, you are one of the best warriors. You need to come with us. And for Pack's security, Gama Austin will manage everything. Officials are going to be in touch with all the time, and Pack's affairs will run smoothly here." Nathan explained.

"Nathan is right. You should come along." Aiden stated.

I can't deny Alpha's request again and again. Aiden won't mind it, but still, it looks disrespectful, especially in front of officials.

You don’t have to worry about anything. ' Moon encouraged me.

She is right. They might be laughing at me being a weak and coward omega who fled from the pack. I'll show them I'm stronger than they can even imagine.

"How long are you going to be there?" Jessica asked as we were packing my luggage.

"I don't know exactly, but it will take time. We are not going there just to fight and kill vampires. We'll be participating in their training program. It will make their warriors capable of tackling with Vampires easily. Vampires are not easy to deal with." I explained.

"I'm going to miss you. And Nathan, too." Jessica admitted sadly.

"I wish Nathan was here to witness it. You are going to miss your brother. " I pulled her cheek.

"Don’t forget to call me daily. I want updates. And also, you seem a little off. Is something bothering you." Jessica asked.

"Jessi, I never shared my past with you. Actually, I'm Alpha Gabriel’s mate."

"Jessi, please. Don't tell anyone about it. Especially Nathan and Aiden. I don't want my past to tarnish the ties between the two packs. I'll handle things well. Promise me you won't tell it to them, " I held her hand.

"Stay away from Gabriel as much as possible . Stay close to Aiden or Nathan. Take care of yourself. " Jessica hugged me tightly.

"Let's go Nat and Aiden are waiting for you." Jessica said.

Everyone was all set for the journey. I was going in the car with Aiden and Nathan. Nathan was driving while Aiden chose to sit beside me.

"Kim, you seem worried, sweetheart . Do you really wanna stay behind?" Aiden asked me softly.

I laid my head on his shoulder, "No, I'm fine. "

He caressed my hair. Aiden and I have been trying to get along lately. To bloom something more than just a friendship.

"I'm right here by your side. If someone bothers you, don't hesitate to tell me." He said.

I wanted to tell Aiden about my past soon, but this unexpected event is making me doubt it. If I tell him now, he will get angry over Gabriel and his pack.
