Chapter fourteen
POV Axel.
I rush to the pack's clinic with Kristy in my arms. I already mind-linked our pack's doctor. When we arrive at the clinic the doctor is ready for us waiting at the entrance with a gurney. I put her on the gurney quickly and the doctor and nurses rushed her to an emergency room."I already took out the bullet but she is not waking up.""We got it from here Alpha. We got her." The doctor tells me. I stand back and watch the doctor and nursers hook her up on an IV and examine her."Please Alpha, go sit in the waiting room we got her. We will call you when needed."A nurse escorts me to the waiting room where I go sit down on one of the hard plastic chairs.I hope I made the right choice to not go to her aunt's clinic. I did not trust it. Not anyone at this point. Her own bloody father took her and even shot her with a silver bullet. How could I trust that someone from his pack would take good care of her? I wake up the next morning and see that Axel is still asleep. I walk over to the bathroom to brush my teeth. I look at my mark in the mirror. I touch the red mark on my neck underneath my ear. It is kind of like half a moon but just one outline in dots. This mark makes me officially a Luna. Bounded with Axel. But that's not all. Now that he marked me, he will introduce me properly to the pack and we will have a ceremony. This only occurs when an Alpha finds his mate. The ceremony is to combine our bloodlines. It's is an old ceremony it's a tradition. hundreds of years ago different bloodlines were different packs. These bloodlines had different capabilities. For assemble one bloodline would have the ability to shift whenever their wolf wanted, others could only shift on a full moon. "Axel? Axel? Where are you?" I walk in the front door of what Axel calls the packhouse. I need to tell him to cancel everything. I can't do this. "I am here. Why so loud?
