    Jace. [Warning; Mature content ahead] I have been lying in this bed for as long as I can remember. I knew it would hurt but I didn't know to what extent.     Ana. The man exits the room and his minions approach us, but Jace is quick to push me behind him. "Don't you dare touch her" He harshly whispers, clenching his fists, and before I know it, the men charge forward ready to hit him but my mate instantly shifts. I watch in amazement as he precisely tears them one by one to pieces. They don't stand a chance. "I knew you would cause trouble" The man reappears when his men don't show up. He reeks of wolfsbane and I'm of the gun he is holding. In the blink of an eye, he targets my mate and shoots. No, goddess. Wolfsbane will weaken my mate. The figure breaks in a fit of taunting laughter that sends a cold chill down my spine. "Oh, or should I say my stepson? Your mother was once my wife you know. She left me for your dad, but I have been fucking her anyway" He chuckles, and I strain my eyes to catch a glimpse of him in the darkroom. I can't see anything. I can't use my wolf's abilities because I haven't shifted yet. My mate stiffens. His breathing escalates, and I feel anger his anger bubbling. "Bitch has been protecting you for so long, Where is she now?" I haven't seen his face but I am sure as hell that I hate this man. "The fuck do you want then?

I am sure everyone can hear my heartbeat right now. "If you don't want to do this I will understand. I will look for another way" I stare in the green eyes that resemble mine and sigh. "I want to meet her" I whisper and mixed emotions cross his eyes. Dad pulls me in a tight hug that forces my mate to drop my hand. "I love you, we will get her" He whispers as he continuously kisses my head, and I greedily breathe in his scent. I need to be calm. "Take care of her, son"he hands me over to Jace who hugs me also.
