That night Lotta had a fever, which lasted until the next day and didn’t pass.
Viktor was worried and tried to talk with the doctor about it, but he said that was usual, considering her state, so he came back after practice to see how is she doing.
Her body was shaking and she tried to open her eyes.
It seemed like she was fighting with herself.
“Lotta?” Viktor called her, hoping she would hear him.
And she did.
She was aware the whole time of what was going on around her, but she just couldn’t tell.
“The doctor said that your fever is normal, you got a few stitches on your back.
“So, I know that is not how you imagine it, but happy birthday, Lotta”, he said and gave her a little box, but she couldn’t take it, she was too weak.
“Here, let me help you”, he said and opened it.
There was a silver bracelet with her name on it, and a pendant with a wolf’s head.
On the inside was engraved Friends Forever.
“I have the same one, so I meant what it writen”, he said.
“Thank you, I will keep it forever”, she smiled at him.
“Are you okay?” He asked when her face went pale and she was starting to shake.
“No”; it was her answer.
“I’ll call the doctor”, Victor said.
“No”, she raised her voice.
“You need something for that, you are not okay, you’re in pain”, he was upset.
“I Im, and it will last, because I will transform and you must to take me to the woods, far away from here as possible”, she said.
“In your condition?”
“No way, it’s better that you stay here”, he protests.
“I wont stay here, and my condition will improve, as soon I transform”, she said.
“You won’t handle it there, you too weak”, he pleaded to her.
“Don’t make me crawl there, Victor, please”, she whispered, in sweat.
“You know I can handle it”, she said to him.
He looked at her for a few seconds, then inhaled deeply.
“It will be harder for you than it was for me, or else because you hurt, you know that”, he said while taking her into his arms.
She wained from the pain when he picked her up, but she held tightly onto him.
“Shit!” Viktor cursed, because he knew how much she was in pain, and more of it waited for her, soon.
“What the hell are you doing?” The doctor asked when he came into the room.
“She will transform, I need o get her out of here”, Victor answered and walked toward the entrance.
“Young man!” Doctor called.
Victor stopped.
“At least, let me give hor a few shots for the pain, if she believes you then I won’t protest, but...”
“If you need me, call me, ok?“The doctor said after he gave her shots.
Victor nodded and left with Lotta in his arms.
He ran as fast as he could, because Lotta already started to feel how all the bones in her body hurt, and she couldn’t suppress a groaning, from the pain in her body.
He was far away from the pack, near the border, when he put her on the ground.
Her hospital dress started to break, and she was sweating and breathing fast and heavily.
Although every werewolf must transform, and Victor knew it well, he couldn’t bear his best friend to suffer that much, more so, because the stitches broke, and she was in the blood.
Nevertheless, he was next to her, holding her hand and listening to her screams, until everything stopped, and a golden ball of fur was in front of him.
Viktor couldn’t believe what he was looking at.
Lotta was a golden wolf!
It was rare, and many thought they were extinct.
She was just lying there, without moving, which meant her body was in shock and needed a rest, and second was that her back was recovering from whipping.
Victor was happy, but he didn’t dare to transform himself, because he didn’t know how she would react to his wolf, he meant.
Golden wolves were strong and they could be healers also, but too dangerous when they were in danger, so he decided to wait.
When she opened her eyes they were glowing green, and he was stunned.
She stood up and got close to him, starting to lick his hand.
At that moment he knew she wouldn’t hurt him, and he transformed, because his wolf Sheen, wanted finally to meet Tessa, and show her all the freedom of transformation of being a werewolf.
She couldn’t run fast at first, but Sheen was speeding more and more so she succeeded o following him, and she felt great.
For the first time in her life, she felt freedom and strength that she never had before and she knew now that she would be missing this way of life more.
She felt tired and they started to get back slowly to the place they were before running.
Viktor gave her his T-shirt because her dress was torn up from transformation.
“Thank you for everything you’ve done for me”, she said to him.
“you welcome”, he smiled.
“Let me see your back”, Victor asked.
“I’m fine, you don’t hafto”...but Viktor already lifted her shirt and his face paled.
“Jesus”, he said stunned.
“I told you I’m fine”, she pulled up the shirt down.
“I’m heald”, she smiled, shyly.
“But the scars”...he said horrified.
“Just leave it , Viktor”, she was serious.
“I’m aware of my scars, and I don’t want to talk about it , also I don’t want anyone to know”, she said.
“What do you mean, you don’t want anyone to know?“He asked, surprised.
“Those are my scars, Viktor”, she whispered.
" And She will be unpunished?!” He was upset now.
“What do you think, will she ?” She asked, in disbelief.
“Or, will I?”
"You remember our ceremony?" Drake asked Lotta. "I remember, yes, but that was Alpha and Luna's ceremony, this is a wedding", Lotta chuckled, and Drake looked at her like he was thinking of something. He knew that she never talked about their wedding, but today it was like she was a bit lost in her thoughts. He wondered if that had anything to do with Jules and Suzy's wedding that was today, together with Viktor and Agatha's. They decided to have a double wedding, since they all had been in the same situation, and the girls were close, now that Agatha had finally recovered from her fears. She was a different person now, just like before and everybody was happy about that. After what they have been through, they deserve it. Lotta was close to giving birth to babies, and Drake was overprotective, using every free second to be near her. She was acting like nothing was happening, maybe because she finally was close, or she wanted to forget the fears that she had about it. However
He gently carried her into their room, regardless that she was already recovered, because she was a golden wolf. Drake didn't want to take any chances. He didn't want it before, especially now, when she was carrying his babies. Drake adored Lotta, just like she adored him, and he felt guilt that he couldn't understand what was going on and that he was too busy to see it. "I'm sorry, my love", he told her, when he gently placed her on the bed and lay next to her. "For what?" She asked surprised. "I hided my scent and avoiding you as much as possible, but I shouldn't have", she said, sad. "I just wanted to give you time to work out all the mess that was left here after everything that happened", she told him. "By putting the hardest part on your shoulders?" He asked. "I don't think so", he said, worried. "Please, stop", Lotta told him, gently. "It is not your fault that I passed out, I overreacted with everything, that's all", she tried to explain. "Don't do that again, beca
Agatha's face became red from embarrassment, and Lotta coughed. She knew that Viktor heard everything and now, when she woke up Agatha in a way, it was time to leave them alone, and pray that they would work everything out. "I'll be outside, if you need me, everything will be alright, just hear him out, okay?" Lotta whispered to Agatha, holding her hand. She could still see the fear in her eyes, but she knew that Viktor wouldn't do anything to jeopardize Agatha. When they left alone, she avoided his look, but he had no intention to do the same. After everything that they went through, it was time that this situation worked out, one way or another. "Please, answer me", Viktor's voice was almost pleading. He was tired of everything, and just wanted the truth, to know what he could expect now. If it's meant to be, great, and if it's not, he will accept it, if it was his destiny. I don't know what to say", she whispered. "You know we are mates because you felt it that night when
Lotta decided that it was time to speak with Agatha, not wondering if she wanted it or not. Those days that she spent at the hospital were torture to her and she was aware of it, Agatha also tortured Viktor and everybody who loved her, but most of all, she was torturing herself. That was the main reason that Lotta decided that she wanted to talk with her and see if there was anything that she could do. Viktor was her friend, Drake was the other part of her soul, and both of them loved Agatha, in different ways, and couldn't help her, because she just detached herself from reality. Now, it wasn't important the things that she had done to Lotta, because Lotta saw her true face and knew that Agatha was truly sorry for everything that she had done. "Baby, I tried, regardless of the things she has done, but it's like she isn't here", Drake said to Lotta. "I'm not sure what else should I do." "She won't speak with Mother either, and if you don't succeed no one will", he told her. "I
It was incredible how Drake was precise in his attack, but he was so overwhelmed with worry and rage, that it was impossible for him not to succeed. Lotta didn't want to tell him anything in this situation, although, he would feel it eventually, but now it wasn't time for that. Later, she thought, when they came home, and when all this fuss was behind them, she would talk to him. When all of them are in a safe place, their home. Although he was tired from everything, he was still the most handsome man in her eyes, and he felt the same about her. Their bond was too strong. They just stood there, looking at each other, without a word, because there were no words that could describe everything they felt at that moment. Only they knew that. "Martin, you need to help her, now!" Viktor barged in, with Agatha in his arms. She looked lifeless, so weak and tortured, and Lotta had a hard time looking at her, especially Drake. She was still his younger sister, and whatever she had done
It's weird how things sometimes can stand just in front of your nose and you are not able to see them. Just like that tree. Drake passed him so many times and didn't register anything unusual. Until now, when Jules told him, they searching for days. "Listen man", Drake spoke to all of his pack warriors, and there were a lot of them. "We don't know what we are going to find down there, but you fight and fight hard, our first priority is our Luna", he said. "When we start, take your positions and leave no prisoners, unless they have their own, which I believe they do have. "Viktor, Jules, let's lift this cover and find an entrance, as quietly as possible. The three of them did it as slowly as possible and were taken aback. The first thing they saw, were the stairs that led to the hallways, so big which they couldn't imagine. There was light everywhere, like in a big house in packs, where they were living. Seth had recourses and created a real small castle down there, and it w
