Chapter three

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY" was yelled and it startled me awake. 

My Mum and my brother's were stood at the side of where me, Lisa and Benji fell asleep. I groggily see through my half open eye. 

"Nope not my birthday for a few more hours of sleep." I manage to jumble out. As Lisa tells us to shut up she is getting her beauty sleep. Benji sits up.

My brother laugh and start throwing pillows at me and Lisa, it turns into a huge pillow fight me and Lisa are definitely awake now. My Mum, Richard and Riggs join us on the floor with a few prezzies in their hands. 

They pass them to me, I unwrap the one from my Mum and it is my favourite set of books. My brothers got me some make up and perfume.

Lisa gets up and gets me a gift from her bag, I open it and it is the most beautiful necklace. It is a tear drop with the most beautiful colour of blue. Benji gives me his and it is matching earing to the necklace. I hug them all loving my gifts, knowing I am a lucky girl. 

Me and Lisa head up to my room to get a shower and get ready to go shopping. I Left Benji downstairs playing on the X-Box with my brothers. Knowing that would keep them all entertained. 

We get quick showers after we have got dressed Lisa french braided my hair for me.Which means I will have nice curls in my hair for tonights ball. I have already got a dress picked out for tonight is is just a little black dress, with thing straps and got to just below the knee nothing special, but it was a dress I was comfortable wearing.

We head downstairs and see that Benji, Richard and Riggs were right where we left them. Sat on the couch racing each other and trying to beat each other. 

"Right Benji, time for shopping." 

"Do I really have to go?" Benji wines from the couch

"Excuse me Benji, it is Rory's birthday, it is her choice now get your arse of the couch and get your shoes on." Lisa commands. 

"Fine!!!" Benji says grumpily as he gets off the couch and slips his trainers on. We leave the house and climb into Benji's black BMW, a car that he got for his eighteen birthday off of his parents. He puts some music on and we spend the whole way there arguing about the crap that he put on. 

"My car, my rules, my music!" He kept saying no matter what me and Lisa said. Lisa who was sat in the front eventually grabbed the CD and threw it out of the window. 

"Lisa you owe me a copy of that CD, I am being serious." 

"Well you should have stopped playing it then." Lisa snickered

We pulled up to the shopping centre and parked. Squeezing out of the tight gaps that was left. Me and Lisa wrapped our arms around one of Benji's and walked arm in arm into the shopping centre. We spent hours going into every signle shop that we passed. Lisa still needed to pick a dress for tonight, so we went into a little boutique. benji went into a different shop. The dresses were lovely but so expensive, money was no issue for Lisa though, her parents had so much money. She could get what she wanted when she wanted it. 

As we are looking through the rails of dresses, who happened to walk in aswell of course it was Shanaya and her best friend Sammy. Both of them both the biggest bitches of the pack and sammy the biggest slut of the pack she would open her legs for any wolf that wanted her. 

Lisa saw me looking at them, 

"Just ignore them they are not worth it." Lisa whispers to me.

You see they used to pick on me but they wouldn't dare pick on Lisa and Benji becase their families were well known and had a lot of money. They would pick on me whenever I was not with them. They would always manage to make nasty comment though that would hurt too. 

We carried on looking and just as I saw a perfect dress for Lisa, I felt a tug from the other side and when I looked it was Shanaya. 

"Let go, this is my dress." 

"Seriously I had it first and you know it, just back off."

"Who do you think you are talking to Omega?" Omega was the lowest of low wolves and one of the biggest insults she could give to me. 

Lisa jumps in "Did you just call her an Omega?" 

Shanaya now looking worried not realising that Lisa was with me. 

"No you must have heard wrong, this is my dress and I am getting it I was just asking for her to let go."

"Rory just let her have it." I let go thinking in my head I wish I could let her have it. They walk away to get the dress. Me and Lisa carry on looking and she tries on a few dresses until she finds the perfect dress. It is long down to the floor. Bright green silk the same colour mstches her eyes perfectly. It had a plunge down to her belly button nearly. I would be scared to wear that dress as would be scared that my boobs would fall out. 

She buys the dress and we go meet Benji at the food court and get some food and drink before we all head back to our own homes to get ready for the ball. 

I go and get washed, put my make up on and I am just about to put my dress on when there is a knock at the door. 

"Come in." I call out

My mum walks in with a box in her hand.

"This was bought years ago. As soon as he saw it, he knew that it was meant to be for you."

She passed it to me. 

"Dad got me this?" I ask with tears in my eyes

"Yes, he got it for this day for you." 

I open the lid and see the most beautiful dress that I have ever seen. It was a gold colour, with flecks of glitter all over it reflecting the light. With a light gold lace over the top. I couldn't help the tears that fell down my face. 

My Mum wraps her hands around me and gives me a hug while whispering to me

"He would be so proud of you." She kisses my cheek and walks out of the bedroom with tears in her own eyes. 

After I manage to stop my tears, I redo my make up and slide the beautiful dress on. I take the french braid out of my hair and let the waves surround me. I slip on some heels that would go with the dress and head downstairs. 

Everyone is there when I get to the bottom. Mum looks happily at me, Lisa is giddy, Benjamin, Richard and Riggs don't look happy which is annoying I thought I looked good. 

Riggs comes over to me "You look absolutly beautiful Aurora." kissing my cheek. 

"Why didn't you look that way when you first saw me."

"Sorry little sis but seeing you like that means we will have more males to fight off." I laugh at that.

Me, Lisa and Benji leave together saying by to my family and saying see you there. We get to the hall where the ball is being held and it was magnificent the lights hung everywhere making it sparkle. As we walked in eyes came to us and the unexpected happened I could feel that my mate was here.
