Chapter twelve
AURORA'S POV
Dax was looking at me weirdly after telling him what Tilly had said.
"What are you looking at me like that for?"
"Aurora, there is something not quite right, I have never heard of a wolf of your age not turning unless they are only half wolf and now Tilly telling you this it only makes this even more crazy. Have you ever asked your Mum about any of this?"
"I tried to one time but she just shrugged it off and said that I would in my own time, everytime I asked her after that she just always changed the subject."
"I think it is time we got some answers from your Mum."
"Dax she is my Mum she wouldn't let me go through all this if she knew something."
The look he gave me after I said that made me believe that he really thinks there is something going on. Well we will go ask her so that he can have piece of mind. I truly don't think my Mum knows anything.

We were all leaving the training grounds after getting cleaned up and changed after training, when through the pack mind link one of the bored patrol shouted rouges.All warrior wolves came running out of everywhere running at full speed to where the rouges had been spotted. Lisa and Benji stood next to me we always stick together, but this time I was more worried. DAX'S POVSeeing Aurora walk away from me, I wasn't sure exactly what to do. Do I follow her? or do I let her go for now?I know Lisa was upset over losing Benji her mate, but how could she take that out on Aurora like that. The look on Aurora's face when Lisa said it was her fault was just pure heartbreak and what is worse is that she believed what Lisa said.Edon wanted to follow Aurora and Tilly to make sure they were OK, he didn't like his mate hurting. I however decide to leave her be for now and let her calm down. I wanted to get to the bottom of how these rogues managed to get on our land and so far in. I will go see my father.I change back into my wolf and run there. I change back to human and put on my third pair of clothes for the day. I know we are wolves and that we are uses to seeing each other nude, but since I have found Aurora I just want it to be for her. Even after the fight I got some clothes on before walking to her.

AURORA'S POVWell these last few days have got to be the worst of my life. Benji dying was so hard, but to lose Lisa aswell and for her to blame me for Benji's death was even harder to take.Me not having my wolf yet was one of the reasons he died I might have been able to help instead of just standing there watching. I hated my Mum even more for that now more than ever, I only came back home because I couldn't be near Dax. How could I have my mate but Lisa lose hers? It didn't seem fair. I was worried about seeing Lisa again, that is if she was even at training. Losing your Mate gave you free rein to miss classes or training for as long as was needed until you felt you could cope with coming back. Lisa had never lost anyone before so for her first person to be her Mate she probably isn't coping very well and I can't be there to help her. DAX POV I couldn't wait for the Alpha training to be over today, I couldn't wait to go to our spot and see Aurora again. Now we have mated for the first time our connection is a lot stronger than what it was before. Hopefully we will complete the full mating bond and I will be able to feel everything she is and will be able to get some of her thoughts. I keep looking at the clock waiting for the minutes to tick by and finally it is five and I am allowed to leave. I grab my stuff and get out of their as quick as possible. I send a message to Aurora to let her know I am on the way. I finally get there and I look around and she isn't here. I wonder if she is trying to hide from me. "Aurora are you hiding from me?" nothing. Well if she wants to play then I best get finding her. I take a deep breath through my nose trying to find her scent so I can follow it and find her, but there is only a slight scent meaning she hasn't been here today

AURORA'S POVI first heard a few voices talking just a few flashes of words I didn't fully understand what was being said. Then lights out again. I kept trying to talk and move but my body wasn't having any of it.Finally when I fully woke up I wish I hadn't I hurt all over like a truck had run over me. I opened my eyes and I was laid in the hospital bed again. My throat was so dry when I try to make a noise it came out as a croak.Dax's head flew up and looked at me when I made the noise."Your awake thank the moon Goddess." LISA'S POV When I first saw Benji go down I froze I didn't know what to do I just had to figure out how to get to my mate. Seeing him dying on the floor I didn't think I would ever be able to feel anything like it again. I could hardly breath with the pain. With his last few breaths he whispered to me "Lisa look after Aurora. I love you so much my Mate I will always be with you in this life and the next." Then he took his last breath and died on me, he left me. Then anger started to grow in me instantly like a black shadow just fell over me.
