Todd dropped Amber off that afternoon and went back home to rest, he was so happy he got to spend time with her and he knew how she felt about him, though she didn’t say much, he could see the way she looked at him tenderly, his only worry was Jake Morris, the supposed childhood friend who seems to be competing with him, he was able to pry information out Amber so he knew Jake was taking her out the next day, his lip curved into a smile as an idea popped into his head, he drove home and went straight to bed to rest.Amber was relieved to see Jen didn’t show up for the weekend at her place otherwise she would have seen Todd dropping her off which would raise more questions, she sat on the chairs and brought out her phone remembering she still has to call Ann to inform her about the outing of tomorrow after all they were both invited.Ring! Stanley called Todd after his meeting with Sam asking him to arrange for a meeting with Ann.Todd didn’t call Amber right away, he delayed till Monday, his mind was pre-occupied with something else, something that keeps nagging at him but he couldn’t figure it out, he decided the best approach was to keep watching silently.On Monday, a new finishes contractor was introduced and he was put to work immediately as they would be handing over a site that week.
