Chapter 13

That night Everlee didn't leave her room. She stayed with Paris and watch her as she slept trying to be there for her the best she could.

"Everlee," Paris's eyes opened still seeing her little sister wide awake.

Everlee gently touched her face with a bright smile.

"Did you sleep well last night?" she asked Paris with sleepy eyes.

Paris nodded sadly looking at her with concern seeing how tired she was.

"You don't have to worry about me I have all day to sleep," said Everlee.

Paris nodded and sat up.

"I'm going to wash my face and get back to my old self,” Paris said sadly walking to the bathroom

Everlee sat up and watched with a broken heart hating what she had said.

"Paris," Everlee called rushing from the bed and to the door of the bathroom.

"Yes," Paris answered washing her face clean.

"How about we go out this evening, a girl’s day out?" she told Paris.

"I have work to get to," Paris answered reaching for her face towel.

Everlee reached for it and placed it in her hand.
