Chapter 29

Paris sullenly went into the carriage on her way back to Archer's home. The entire journey she stared into the distance heartbroken.

She's finally reached home. She remained at the back of the carriage not wanting to leave.

"Miss, we've arrived," the coachman informed her.

Paris nodded and slowly made her way out. As she got out of the carriage she motioned to Archer's home and paused, two-step away from the entrance door of his home before entering. Seeing and being next to the large home, made her feel rather sad. It only reminded her of the sad moments she had here with Archer. She didn't want to be reminded of it, she walked around the home and stood at the side. A smile appeared on her face recollecting meeting Greyson there for the first. It was when she couldn't find her cat, Archie. She began to cry.
