Chapter 15

Everlee made a step backward, changing her mind, to purchase the painting from him. She now wanted to get away from him. She wished she wasn't so determined to get the painting, seeing it was the rude handsome stranger who had once offered to give her a ride.

"You have no shame trying to gain my attention after your first meeting with me," the tall man in the dark suit reminded Everlee of their first meeting. One she wanted to forget.

"How dear you," Everlee responded staring into his dark brown eyes.

She looked around if anyone was looking at them and walked away angrily leaving the museum right away. There was no way she was going to embarrass herself in a crowded museum all because of him.

She paused outside of the museum taking in a deep breath, trying to control her anger. She was soon surprised that the tall handsome stranger was following her.
