Chapter 16

Paris took a step backward still holding onto the door. After what Archer did to her, he now frightened her.

Archer stared at her saying not a word. He was surprised as to why his wife was at his colleague apartment.

"Greyson is not here, he's on his way to work," Paris softly told him, assuming it was the main reason why he was there.

Greyson should have been at work very early but instead he went shopping with her.

Archer nodded and Paris slowly began to close the door.

"Paris," Archer called as he held the door stopping it.

Paris said nothing but look at the man who abuse her and called her red trash.

"I'm sorry for what I had did to you," Archer apologized. "Please forgive me?" he begged.

Archer gazed at Paris waiting for a respond. It was hard for Paris to respond to him, what he did to her hurt her very much. She doesn't know if she can forgive him or even wants to.

She closed the door not wanting anything to do with him.
