Chapter 21

"Why doesn't she wants me to help her," Paris sobbed.

"Sh....., everything is going to be okay," retorted Greyson as he helped her into the carriage.

The carriage drove off bringing them back to the hotel.

Greyson's right hand never left Paris as they went to their room. He helped her to the bedroom and onto her bed. Greyson stared sullenly at his fiance' as she curled up in bed sadly.

"I'll be in the living room if you need me," said Greyson.

"No stay," begged Paris as she sat up.

Greyson immediately came to her and held her in his arms. Both her arms wrapped around his body and her head rested on his chest as he did.

"I thought she didn't have the money to pay," said Paris leering heartbroken at the wall of her room.

"Maybe the money she used to pay the owing rent was the cash she had put aside for food and important things for her twin, she didn't want to touch," retorted Greyson.
