"I'm giving you 4 hours to pack and leave now," said the landlord.

"Please give me some time to pay, I don't have anywhere to go," pleaded Everlee as she began to cry.

"I've given you plenty of time already," retorted the landlord. "Which landlord would allow their tenant to owe them 8 months' rent, I put up with you long enough?"
