Chapter 3

Archer both hands widened and kept away from Paris, not returning her hug as she held him tightly. He just gazed at her, with a straight face, showing no emotion.

"You've gone for so long, I thought you'd never return," Paris bawled her eyes out.

"I miss you so much, I was miserable without you," she told him.

Her head lifted to Archer, staring into his beautiful dark brown eyes as she felt both his hand gently touched her shoulder. Archer slowly motioned her away from him. Paris's gaze went straight to his hand dispirited by his action and back to his expressionless face that showed no sign that he never did miss her during the 2 years he left her.

Paris's head lowered sullenly.

I was concerned about you most times, she heard Archer.

Her eyes went to his swiftly, touched by what he had said.

Paris couldn't help to hug him, hearing he had missed her too. Archie growled and clawed at Archer. Archer drawback frightened by Paris's kitten.

"Stop it," Paris told Archie.

Archie jumped from
