Chapter 8

Paris was no longer working and she was back to the same life as before, a life of having nothing to do while she wait for her husband. Recollecting what her husband had told her before he and Greyson had left, Paris decided to be very patient with him and allow him to get close to her on his own. It was better that way anyways, for every time she tried to get close to him the more he distanced himself from her. She had been waiting for him for 2 years now, she believed she as the heart to wait for him even more. But what to do in the large home to wait on her husband's love?

Within the living room, Paris played with Archie's fur while he fell asleep in her lap.

"Mrs. Wealth, what would you like for me to prepare for dinner?" Mandy asked as she came into the living room.

"Surprise me," answered Paris, caring less about dinner.
