Fear

DAISY’S POV.

Four years later

I wiped the shelf, humming my current favorite song happily. My kids had completely scattered the house.

“Nadia…” I began, but ran off. She had been playing charades all by herself, and had been spilling milk from her mouth as blood, as she completed a tragic scene. Yes, she was spilling milk on the floor I had wiped minutes ago.

“What is wrong with you both?” I asked, leaving to get the mop. My adorable twins were the ones who gave me headaches all day, but they were my greatest joy, and best friends.

I brought the mop and began to clean, but stopped as I noticed Nadia whispering into Aidan's ear furiously. They were scheming something again. Aidan burst into laughter, and I changed my decision to stop them.

How could anyone be so adorable? The both of them giggled again, and looked at me. I smiled. I'd let them prank me all they want. They were just five, but gave me trouble ten times their age a day.

“Mom, aren't we having an outing? You promised.
