He lied

"Hello, Jordan. I am very happy to see you but I would have been happier if you had knocked before entering the room." Helena said in pure sarcasm, making Jordan wonder from where does this woman get all this humour. But he was too furious to care about that at that moment. 

"That bastard is playing a double game with us." He growled in fury as he slammed on the sofa where Elijah was seated previously.
