Ivan sat on his couch, his eyes closed as he tried to process everything that had happened in the past few hours.

When he received a call yesterday that Natalie was in danger, he did not even think twice. In fact, he had not even questioned what was happening to her.

He had rushed all the way to rescue her. That was his first thought. And he only realized that once he had driven her to his compound.
