Ch7: More betrayal

For a long time, Ivan had been wondering how to face Natalie and tell her about everything that he had found out. He did not know how to put it.

He was more confused. Five years ago, when he slept with her, he had dug a bit into her. But he had never found out anything about this Luca.

And he was confused. Did that mean that she really knew nothing about having a child, or did not remember him at all? Was that even possible?

He sighed. He still knew that he needed to know what she thought before taking any action. With a sigh, he went to see her.

As he approached her room, his heart raced with anticipation, and his mind was filled with a hundred questions.

He could not understand how Natalie's fiancee could do something like that to her. She was just a nice and frail girl who needed protection.

He knocked on the door, and Natalie opened it, looking weary and sad. Ivan noticed that her eyes were red, and her cheeks were damp. She was crying again.

"Hey, Sir," she said, her voice shaky
