After a very awkward lunch, and then an uneasy day at college, which lacked social assurance and grace, It was finally time to go home. It was after a long duration, I was actually looking forward to being locked away in my room for the rest of my day, and doing nothing, rather than leaving the house, which was a constant wish of mine. All so I can have a break from the heebie-jeebies, I had been feeling all day, all thanks to her dad for hiring Mason. He won’t be there with her in her home. Mason was a good guard, she could see that. But not good for her.

Maybe she should go back and tell her dad that he just ain’t it and they can go back to the usual overweight team of builders following her car, but staying away from her, and her school.

Right now she was heading to her car, ignoring the turning faces and talking mouths, almost all of them directed at her. Mason was right in front. Just as she had stepped at the first stair lowering down, she heard someone call out to her.
