Chapter no 20

I groan as my body starts feeling weird uncommon sensations. I feel like my body is on fire, a hot prickly sensation all over my skin. My hand moves to my head, feeling the ache worsen in my muscles and head. I try to open my eyes, and they feel sensitive to the light penetrating through the window. I turn and peel open my eyes. My throat feels constricted and dry.

I search for the glass of water on my nightstand but none. My head spins and my body burns. I have a fever, I’m not too fond of fevers.

I trace the call button on my nightstand and press it a few times. I wait a few minutes and my door knocks. I say a weak yes, and Madam Rosella opens the door, stepping in.

“Oh, dear!” She says when she walks closer to me.

“I think I have a fever,” I tell her.

“My dear, but you rarely get such diseases,” She tells me before placing her hand on my forehead and checking my temperature.
