Chapter no 19

It was almost midnight when he received a call from Mr. Vitale asking where they were at this hour of the night and he told him about their trip to the ocean. Arthur asked for a return home as early as possible and cut the call.

Mason sighed and looked down at the girl sleeping with her head against his arm. They had been like this for more than an hour and for some reason, he wanted this to last longer. But another reason told him to push her away. She was calm, opposite to what she was an hour ago. His heart made a tiny jump at the glance of this beauty by his side. She had a chubby face, her cheek rolled in front as it rested on his arm, making her lips slightly parted from each other. Her hair, flowing lightly with the wind at the edges, tingled his arm.

Mason hated when people touched him. It was for him, invading his personal space not when he wanted them to. He wasn’t comfortable with people altogether. But he didn’t seem to mind her doing that. He seems to allow it for her.
