"And cut! All right, that's a wrap for today. Ms. Davis, please come here for your retouch," the photographer exclaims after the photoshoot. Annalia and a Filipino actor, Marco Morales, who played the lead roles in their finished film, were currently having their shoot for the poster photo to be unveiled the following week."So, Annalia, you're going for the celebration party tonight, right?" Marco asks with a beaming excitement in his voice. Annalia jadedly sighed while tapping her phone to message Donovan that their photoshoot was done. Marco asks once again, "Right?" Anna groaned and rolled her eyes at how annoying Marco was.Anna replies quickly, "I'm not going." Although she could see that her response had disappointed Marco, she didn't care. They were going to celebrate the completion of the shooting for their movie at the party, but Anna wasn't in the mood to mingle with other guests, especially the pesky press. "But it's our party, and our fans expected us to come. Wouldn't

Annalia widened her eyes at Silas as though she was asking for an explanation as she couldn't believe her father had done it. She could also tell that even Donovan was baffled by what he saw. A Delatorre hired by his father will work for their company? Has he lost his mind? Even though Annalia forbids it, once Annalia and Adam become acquainted, a lot may happen to them. She had to object to this agreement because otherwise, many problems would occur."Mr. Santiago," Adam said with a tinge of respect for Silas."I wanted to introduce you to someone you will be working for. I know you met a few years back." Mr. Santiago said with a hidden meaning in his voice. "Anna-"“I need to go,” was all Anna could say as she cut his sentence."Where are you going?" Annalia heard Donovan whisper while looking at her solemnly. Anna gritted her teeth as she averted her eyes from Adam, who was now looking at her intently."I'm going home.""All right, then. Let Adam go with you. Today will be his fir

As soon as the show was over, Annalia walked straight to the VIP area to relax and cool off. She was ready for the hosts' and the audience's questions. However, when they were answered—particularly the ones that were out of the line—Annalia was forced to provide a safe response even though she was already finding it difficult to express her annoyance. "Are you hungry? I'll order food for you. You didn't eat this morning, did you?" Don enquired with concern. Donovan's offer was declined by Anna, who instead responded by saying that they should phone their father. There is still the matter of her father's plans for her to take Adam on as her personal bodyguard, which they need to discuss. "Where's Dad?" Annalia asked Don. "He should arrive any minute now." Annalia responds with a simple nod of her head before returning to nap. In the meantime, Donovan left the VIP room to get some lunch for Anna. While she was taking a moment to relax, the door abruptly opened, which caused Anna to f

Annalia did nothing but gaze at Adam for a few moments before she realized that Antonio had noticed her preoccupation with something else and abruptly switched the focus of her attention.Anna cleared her throat and muttered "A-ahm" before pulling her hand from Antonio's palm."Well, would you like to join me?" She asks him while doing her best to ignore the icy glare that Adam is sending her."Sure," was Marcel's response. Annalia asked them to walk ahead of her before she did. She attempted to glance at Adam, but it was too late—he had already disappeared. The Delatorre were shown to their table by Donovan, standing right next to her at the time."Ann?""Yes?""What are you doing? Let's go," Don said. The only thing Annalia did was nod her head before she followed them.Fortunately, their father grabbed Marcel and Antonio for a chat, so she wouldn't have to deal with them for the time being. Annalia is tense for no apparent reason—no, she is nervous. And she doesn't know why. Anna
