Proper Visit

Chloe's lips curved into a broad grin as Blake's name appeared on her phone.

Finally, the call she had been waiting for for two days finally came in and she didn't hesitate to answer it.

“I’m sorry for keeping you in suspense.” Blake apologized as soon as his call was answered.

“I missed you,” Chloe confessed instead.

“Me too.” Blake also confessed and silence swept over for several seconds.

Blake eventually spoke up, “My parents want to see you–”

Upon noticing the hesitation in his voice, she quickly understood his fear.

“Chloe Knightley or Aurora Marlowe?” She asked knowingly.

Blake was hesitant yet again before he replied, “The latter.”

“I hope you’re not offended but my parents haven’t been able to sleep properly since she found out you were still alive. They really want to meet you– Now.” Chloe suggested.

“Why would I be offended? It’s a good thing anyway. At Least I get to see you.” She said,

“Okay then. Zane will pick you up in an hour.” He announced.
