4. What?

"You go, take your brother's place and work."

The old man said that with no tone at all, rather he sounded so heartness.

"I'm busy Father."

"You're my firstborn, why don't you contribute much to helping me?"

The man exhaled, he looked at his father who was not at all separated from the laptop in front of his face.

At least he needed to look at his son for a while instead of at him.

"What's your answer, Son?

"I will."

The man walked out of the room which felt unnerving. Passing by several people dressed in black who were his father's men.

"Sir, where are you going?"

The man glanced at the man next to him, someone who had always accompanied him since childhood, more often than his own parents.

"I have duties outside, tell the chef there is no need to make food."

"Yes, Mr. Xavier."

The man, whose name was Xavier immediately walked quickly, he did'nt like being there.

He got into the car and scratched his itchy neck, soon a voice message appeared on the phone inside his car.

[I heard you were called by your father?]

"Well... he told me to finish your assignment. Why do you have to leave when there's so much to do here."

[Hey, you should be running this errand right, I'm busy like this right now because you chose to be a teacher instead of a leader. Well, even though it's because of you that I'm able to live a decent life.] said the guy.

"I'm also busy because the children are in the exam period you know. Ah well, I'll go to the campus first for a while."

Xavier disconnected the phone, his brother who was one year younger than him was on his way to a beautiful island abroad.

Although he was also there because of a business to be conducted.

So instead of getting dizzy Xavier immediately stepped on the gas and went to campus to finish some of his work there first.

It didn't feel like time was going by quite fast, when looking towards the window from inside his room the sun was already starting to slip. Xavier gave up his desk first and went outside.

"Good afternoon, Prof," several students who used the night class greeted Xavier.

And once outside the campus area, he got into his vehicle and drove quite slowly to their appointment.

A building managed by his father.

Xavier went straight in, he didn't ask any questions and just pressed all the buttons in the elevator that was meant to be a private floor for his family.

There was a door to the bathroom, a door to the kitchen, and a door to the storeroom, and at the very end was... a room large enough to fill an entire floor here.

Xavier sat on the chair at the far end. He hoped that the person he was about to meet would understand the situation and sit on the other side of the chair.

"I hate that guy, every time he comes he just brings trouble," he muttered as he put down the two documents that were left for him.

The spacious place was quiet and peaceful.

Xavier liked that, not that he was anti-social. He was even better at communication and cooperation than his brother. It was just that living in a family full of Alpha dominants was not as wonderful as one might think.

Just because he is the best of the best, all sorts of responsibilities and duties will always arise.

Her status as an Alpha Dominant had made her quite famous in her childhood, but being famous didn't mean everything, being powerful didn't mean being able to change the world system. therefore, he preferred to become a lecturer and leave all the tasks that should be his to his brother.

He had to stop it now, thinking about it all gave Xavier a headache. But when Xavier's mind calmed down again, he began to realize, that his breathing was getting heavier and heavier, and his body was getting weaker and weaker.

What is this? He tried to press the emergency button but no reaction happened and then Xavier fell on his shirt while holding his chest that feeling hurt and then started to faint.

He only fainted for a short while, the next thing that happened was that he could hear a voice around him. Although he couldn't open his eyes, he could tell it was a woman's voice.

Xavier was silent because he didn't have enough energy to get up, and the woman had been talking to herself, busy with herself.

"Geez, I forgot I had to check my poison reaction."

Shortly after that, Xavier's body began to lift, he finally began to sit normally in his chair. Then the woman began to breathe raggedly as she had just done some heavy work.

And somehow, she was finally able to move her fingers slightly, with all the effort she could, Xavier grabbed whatever was in front of him and opened his eyes.

"Who are you?"

What he saw was a young girl who was looking at him with her mouth agape.

It seemed like this woman was an intruder, he should immediately get up and ask the guard for help, ah he could also get rid of her himself if only he was not weak like this.

Instead of answering, the woman took his hand and leaned closer to Xavier.

"Are you rich?!"

And Xavier didn't know what to answer. What is this, why is she asking like that, is she not an intruder but who is she?!

"Ah, there's no need to answer, if you're here, thats means you're rich, right?"

Xavier wanted to reply, but no sound came out. Because of the woman's actions, his brain immediately processed what happened and he became dizzy again.

"Geez, I'm sorry! ah just a minute," the woman reached into her bag and stuffed it into Xavier's mouth.

"Don't spit it out, it's a poison antidote and if you spit it out no one will sell the medicine unless I go and produce it myself."

"Yes, so swallow it and close your eyes for a while, I will cover your eyes with a cold towel."

Hee didn't know what was happening but he obeyed anyway, his eyes now felt colder and it felt better

"I'm lucky."

Xavier continued to listen to the woman.

"It's a good thing my poison didn't work that fast. It's deadly, but since it's new I don't know how long it will take to kill."

Xavier was shocked. But the woman opened the towel over his eyes and now he could see her smile.

"I'm not using it on you, you're just a victim of mistaken identity. My target is a mustachioed man in his forties. Do you know where he is?

"...why do you want to kill him?"

Finally, her voice came out too.

Vivian grinned again, she then pointed to a file she was holding.

"Firstly because it is my duty, and secondly he deserves to die because he is a merchant who sells slaves illegally, you don't know that do you? Even more disgusting is that he fucks all his slaves first before he sells them, whether it's omega, beta, or even alpha. He also does it with men and women. Ah knowing that just pisses me off, why isn't she here on schedule anyway?!"

This was the first time Xavier heard that, it sounded absurd and too inhuman.

"Wait why are you telling me thi- No, where dou you know about that?"

"Hmmm I don't know, it' a secret. Besides, if you report it everyone should be able to guess who's doing the attacking right now."

"Who are you?"

"Me?" Vivian smiled a little, a look of excitement in her eyes as she said it out loud.

"I'm the 'Expert'."

"Take it easy, I'm only targeting people who deserve to be targeted, you're clean off the list- uh?! I forget I'm not wearing a mask!"

Vivian looked panicked, she then looked at Xavier.

"You're not going to say that it was a woman who did this, right? I saved your life, so... please hide my identity."

There was something that Xavier was curious about.

"Why do you have to kill."

Vivian's eyes became serious. "Because if I  don't do it... they'll kill more innocent people. But to keep it's clear!" Vivian pointed an index finger at Xavier's face and then laughed knowingly.

"Please keep this a secret, after all, there's no way people will believe that doing all of this is just a weak omega girl anyway, and I still respect the Alphas, so I won't let their pride fall. Ah! Let's just change the setting, let's pretend we never meet here in this place, okay? Let's change the setting to a small bar and you're snoozing and a beautiful and cute woman comes to talk to you okay?"

"...ah I have to go, please keep your promise to me!" Soon after the woman walked out of the door while waving at him.

It took about five minutes for his muscles to recover.

Then after that, several officers came pounding on the door.

"Sir, is there a problem? We apologize, but the system is not working at all and all access doors are suddenly immobilized."

Xavier looked at them.

"Is there an intruder?"

"We're looking for it but we can't find anything. There seems to be a system malfunction."

Xavier exhaled and walked away, "Then contact the staff and repair the damage, if there is a real intruder this place will be in chaos."

"Okay."

As Xavier walked away, he looked at the window and wondered if the woman had jumped from here.

He shook his head.

There were words from the woman that he could not forget.

First, he had to find out the truth of her words about slavery, then second, he needed to find out more about the 'Experts' through his brother.

Xavier looked down, although he did not say he would promise to keep his mouth shut, he did not plan to say anything to others about what happened.

"I'll will remember it as a drunken dream."
