My name is Riley Ward and I am about to turn 18. I am the daughter of the great Alpha William Ward of the nightfall pack. My senior year of high school has anything but normal. I have found my mate and he use to terrorize me. Will I ever be able to trust him or will I need to reject my mate.

Chapter 1
"Riley its time to get up or your going to be late for school" my father calls from the other side of the door.
My Name is Riley Ward i am 17 years old and I am a current omega of the night fall pack My father is William Ward he is the current sitting alpha and my brother Ryker is the future alpha.I groan and roll out of bed knowing that if I dint get up soon they will cancel all of the activities for tomorow. Yes tomorow is my 18th birthday. For a werewolf this is more significant then a sweet 16 and a 21st birthday. Being 18 means i can officially shift and meet my wolf form. After your first shift you and your famly go running with the pack."Riley" i hear from the other side of the door this time its my brother Ryker. I havent seen or heard from him in months. He met his mate and stopped talking to us. His mate Kate is human and he knows i adore her. But he has made appoint to keep her from our family. Our pack and the Battlefang pack live in harmony with the humans in this town.The humans know that wolves live here and there hasnt been any trouble between us and the humans in decades. But my father and Alpha Brayden Hall have been struggling to get long as of late and the humans are starting to notice the tention.I grab my backpack and head toward my bedroom, once i have it open i push past Ryker without saying a word. "Riley i thought I could give you a ride to school this morning and we can talk"he says following me to the living room."Hi Kate" i drop my back pack and move towards her. Riley's POVThe rest of the school day was quiet. Thankfully i dont have many classes with either Logan or Ashleigh. I am headed to my last class of the day which is History. Upon entering the room i see Logan and Ashleigh already seated and there is only one empty.
