I walked through the halls that were lit with both candles and chandeliers that Master Abigor had bought from Egypt and had cost two cases of gold. I looked behind me, feeling as though some person were following me.
When I looked around, I spotted nothing so I continued to walk up to my sleeping chambers. I opened the doors and when I stepped in, my ladies in waiting rushed to my aid. They began to lead me to my bathing chambers, where the tub had been filled with water.
"Oh, I need my muscles to be soothed," I complained as I turned to face one of them to instruct them to take off my dress when a voice interrupted me.
