I smiled at them, acknowledging their greeting as they rushed to continue their jobs of dressing me for the day, "is this to your taste?" one of my ladies asked me as she gestured towards the green dress that would be more revealing and provocative than the one I wore yesterday.

It was strange getting a request from Master Abigor to accompany him on a walk through the gardens. I awoke with a start, gasping for breath and a scream tore past my lips as I sat upright. My eyes looked around my bedroom anxiously for those bright red eyes and long fangs.However, instead of the dark night and a male vampire, my curtains had been drawn open and the sunshine was peeking into my bedroom. There was nothing of threat around me and I swallowed nervously before looking at my hands that were shaking from fear.It all had felt so real. Could it possibly have been a dream?I brought my fingers to my neck where Master Abigor had bitten me yet I felt nothing except my usual skin. No bruise, no pain, nothing of that sort.I settled down and let out a shaky breath as I brought my knees to my chest and smoothed my hands over my hair. I sat on the edge of Master Abigor's bed nervously twiddling my thumbs as I avoided his gaze and tried my best to appear as calm as could be.
