Chapter 23

The sun had just set and I was standing on my balcony, looking out into the gardens and at the star covered sky. The moon was half full and I enjoyed the light that it provided as I watched the little flecks of orange fire light in the distance.

Master Abigor's home sat at the very top of a mountain and we were surrounded by a thick forest, with big, beautiful, lush trees. Yet during the night the forest took on such a dark aura, it looked terrifying, so I always tried my best to stay inside whenever the sun set.

I have come to the realization that Master Abigor disappears during the day, doing what? I myself wonder because am I not his most important task? As a woman that he is courting, I would presume that he would be available to me for 24 hours.
