Chapter 21

Reid was still on his way to his office when he got a call from the pilot who drove Anna. He stared at his phone's screen for a while before picking up the call.

"Sir, your wife just got arrested." The pilot said to him via the phone call.

He took a look at the screen again to be sure it was the pilot speaking. "Did you miss the line?" He queried, squeezing his face.

"Not at all sir, the corps took her away for being the culprit to the death of one Mr Jafred. I saw it with both eyes."

The blood is his body drained immediately, he dropped a voice to his pilot to revise and head back to Anna's company which they did instantly.

He also dropped a message to his manager who was expecting his presence soonest.

Within a few minutes, they arrived at Anna's office. He climbed down from the jet after it landed and ran into the pilot who had called him.

"Immediately you took off, she was arrested." The pilot repeated. He glanced at his colleague who nodded in agreement to what he said.
