Chapter 79

It was the first time Lyra met with Anna, and she hated it. There was nothing good about seeing the woman that made Reid stay away from her all these years, she wanted to snap her neck, but that wouldn't help, instead, it would cause more issues. She heard everything about Reid and decided to visit his father thinking that he would help out—at least, Reid should take the national company for himself ...but it looked like Anna came for the same reason as well because she overheard a little of their conversations.

Now, the bitter part of it isn't that Anna visited for the same reason, she's scared that Anna will make the old man love her again and want her back to Reid and that she wouldn't want.
