I laid on the bed next to Jeremy just staring at the ceiling.

I could have slept off but I had the hunch that something was wrong with him.

"Aren't you sleepy?" I asked touching him gently and he glanced at me.

He slightly rolled his eyes but didn't respond.

"I'm really sorry for the prank. I was just playing with you" I apologized giving him puppy eyes but he wasn't really paying attention.

He sighed and shrugged his shoulders.

"What do I do with you?" He finally spoke blandly.

"What about you? You look distracted. Do you have something you want to tell me and also, does it have to do with the baby?" I queried alarmed.

He quietly turned properly and his expression closed up. "No, the child is okay. That, I'm sure".

"Then why are you all moody and thoughtful? You're never like this!" I admitted draw
