ASHINA’S POV

Although the negotiation had failed, I was not discouraged. If anything, I was even more determined to reclaim what was rightfully mine.

It seemed that Alpha Boris already knew beforehand that negotiations would not work. Still, he had allowed me to go for a peace treaty.

Perhaps he had thought that since I was the daughter of Connor, the enemy would try to come to an agreement with me. Unfortunately, it did not happen.

As my thoughts drifted to Alpha Boris, I could not take my handsome face off my mind. He was not only the hot Alpha, but his poised composure was kind of disturbing.

Those impenetrable eyes of his were like magnets, as well as an abyss. I had no idea if he knew about my past; the one with Farkas and his family or if he cared about it.

Why was I asking this question; if he cared?
