Ezio:

I watched as Iris walked inside the room. Her beautiful silver-blue eyes fixed on the ground as she got lost in her thoughts. The bruises which covered her arms broke my heart when she raised her shirt as the heat got the best of her. The AC in the room was still off, and not wanting to stir her, I didn’t turn it on before she came in.

I smiled and walked toward her, clearing my throat as to catch her attention making her jump in surprise “sorry, I didn’t mean to scare you”

“How long have you been standing there? And more importantly, what the bloody hell are you doing in my room?” She asked, her eyes glaring daggers at me as I extended my arms toward her, wanting to pull her in for a hug. However, her taking a step back, resenting my touch told me that she was a little angrier than I thought she’d be.
