Chapter 20
Iris came down to the dining hall at the usual time. One week had passed since she gained her strength back and started working and living normally. Even though there was a hazy memory of her being in someone's arm or getting a bit care, she couldn't remember who had exactly helped her in past. A part of her mind was confident enough to accept Igor as her savior. But the strange feeling of seeing Dimitrios didn't leave her brain too. His stoic expression and harsh words never did some good to her and she was in no place to ask if he was actually there during her miserable days.
"Lost in thoughts?" Maria's approach and words grabbed Iris's attention while she was helping her in the kitchen.
"Not exactly. I was just thinking......" Before Iris could finish speaking one of the staff came inside the kitchen to look for her.
"Maria, the boss has asked for his new prisoner."
