Bonus chapter [Ada 10]
I've never been this nervous before, I submitted my resignation letter this morning, I know Chi would be so mad at me, but the thing was that I already made up my mind.
The last thing I wanted was for Mr Ian to find out about my pregnancy. I dragged my feet down to the powder room slowly, ignoring the curious look the staffs were giving, they could say hurtful things behind my back but definitely can't say it to my face, cowards and rumour carriers.
I sighed heavily as I doused my face with water.
"Are you fine? " a familiar voice asked, I turned around to find Thelma behind me.
"Yes," I whispered softly.
"Are you sure? " she asked again.
"Yes, I am. " I replied looking away.
"Okay, but if you need anyone to talk to. I'm here for you." she replied, tapping my shoulder before exiting the room.
