Brianne Raye POV

“Hi, I guess you are Brianne?” A much older man than me said as he entered the room and shut the door behind him.

“Y-yes sir,” I answered while fidgeting my fingers and looking at my lap.

“Can you look at me? You know the face is important for me.” He said and I slowly look at him.

As I look at him, he bent one of his knees to level with me and slowly touch my face, my heart is beating so face as he smiles.

“S-sir…” I uttered nervously.

“What a beautiful face, your mom really meant what she said about you.” He said and caress my face as he places his other hand on my lap.

“No…sir, I want to leave.” I said and tried to remove his hand when he removes his hand from my face and grab my hand.

“Be a good girl and I will make you the biggest star in the industry, okay?” He said smiling.

“No! no! Mommy! Mom! No! sir, please! NO!” I shouted as he pushes me onto the sofa and I tried to push him away and get up when he grabs me and push me back again on the sofa an evil smile appear on the corner of his lips as he move towards me and get on top of me.

“NO! NO! NO!” I shouted as tears is streaming down my face.

“BRI! WAKE UP!” Hear my manager’s voice shout. “You’re are having a nightmare! You keep shouting no over and over again, are you okay?” she asks worriedly while I look at her stunned as the catch my breath.

“Y-yeah, it’…it; was just a dream,” I said with both of my palms on my face and push back my hair back out of my face.

“Wait here, I’ll get you some water.” My manager said and quickly left.

“It’s just a nightmare, you need to calm down,” I said to myself as I close my eyes and took a deep breath.

“Here, drink this.” My manager said as he open the bottle of water and handed it to me, “Are you sure you’re okay? You’ve been having nightmares every day, don’t you think you need to go to a therapist? You’re making me feel so worried now, you also didn’t want to talk about those nightmares.” She said and I just smiled at her weakly.

“I’m fine Manager Clea, It’s just a nightmare besides we need to go to auditions. Going to a doctor will just be waste of time, my mom will just get mad.” I said and put down the bottle of water after drinking.

“Bri, your health Is more important than those auditions. We can always try to get you to a different audition, I’m sure your mom wouldn’t mind if you get some rest you’re her daughter I know she doesn’t want something bad to happen to you.” She added as he stood up and grab something in front of the vanity.

“No, I’m really fine. Let’s just get ready, you said there is a new movie that you want us to try auditioning right? Let’s start getting ready for it.” I said and stood up from the sofa.

“Fine, but Bri you know you can trust me, right? If there is something bothering you, you can tell me you don’t have to go through it alone. I’m not just your manager, I can also be your friend.” She said and I smile.

“I know, thank you,” I said and walk towards the restroom as tears starts to flow down my face.

“So, this is the scene that they might ask you to do. I got you to audition for the leading lady of the main leading man of the movie, so fighting!” Manager Clea said while we were inside the car and I’m sitting in the back as he sat on the passenger sit beside the driver, her boyfriend.

“What? Isn’t that too much of a hope Manager Clea?” I said in shock as I flip the pages of the script.

“I believe in your talent and I read about the movie and the characters and it really fits you! So, let’s go for it!” Manager Clea said and clap her hand cheerfully.

“You can do it Bri, you’re so talented I’m sure when they see you act there will be no need to continue with the audition!” Manager Clea’s boyfriend said.

“I really hope so, I hope this time I will not be a side character,” I said and starts to read the script.

“Bri, just do your best okay? Don’t be too pressured, we can always try.” Manager Clea said as I was waiting for my name to be called and entered the audition room.

“I will, I will really do my best,” I said taking a deep breath.

“Ms. Brianne Raye, you may enter.” The lady at the door of the audition room said.

“Oh my, It’s your turn already!” Manager Clea said and fix my hair. “Okay, you can do this! Just do your best, I’m sure you’ll shine among them!” she said that made me smile and nodded.

I took a deep breath and followed the lady who called me inside the audition room.

“Good luck.” The lady said as she open another door when as soon as I entered the room, I could see cameras and a long table with four people behind it three men and one woman.

“Thank you,” I uttered before she left.

“Good morning, my name is Brianne Raye.” I introduce myself.

“Nice to meet you, Brianne, shall we start?” One of the guys behind the table said “So, let’s start with scene forty-four” he added and I smile and flip the pages of the script I’m holding when a guy wearing a staff shirt entered the room and whispered something to the man that asks me to start.

“I’m sorry, but can you please sit there for a second?” The man said looking at me.

“I…I thought it’s my turn, sir?” I said confused.

“Oh, you will have your turn after Sabrina.” The man said and the other guy staff walk towards me and made me move to the side on the corner of the other staff.

The hope that I will get this role just disappeared, Sabrina always gets the Role that she wants even most of the time she doesn’t need to Audition and they will give her the Role right away without any screening.

“Hello, Mr. Denver, did you miss me?” Sabrina said as she entered the room smiling.

“Oh dear Sabrina, it’s been quite a long time since we worked together and that last time was so successful.” The man that made me step aside said and stood up walked towards Sabrina and hug her.

Yeah, successful after someone buy an unbelievable amount of cinema ticket for the movie but other than that most of the reviews of the movie are not good but you all tried to hide it.

I pulled out my phone and walk to the other corner of the room where there is no people around.

‘Sabrina is here, I think you already know how this may end.’ I send the text to Manager Clea and sigh.

“I read the whole script and I like it, I think I will be the best pick for this movie. Don’t you think?” Sabrina said confidently as she smiled at everyone.

“Well, then shall we talk about the shooting schedule?” The man said and Sabrina clap her hand hug him.

“Just like before,” I whispered to myself.

“Everyone we found the best Layla of the movie let’s clap for Sabrina!”
