19. Bipolar Personality

I was so lost in my thoughts of irritating him that I didn't hear what he ordered me. He left only to come back because I didn't leave my place. I thought that he asked me to stay in my room, not to create any mess with his important client.

"Didn't you hear what I said? Go and prepare lunch for my guest." He barked like the dog he is!

"Me?" My fingers swung around to point at myself.

"Greta is not home. Do you expect me to cook for him?" He asked me back, still irritated.

"I don't think there is anything wrong with it," I shrugged and folded my arms to my chest. The defiance was deliberate; I was eager to test the limits of his patience.

The guest is his, so he can prepare lunch for them. Isn't it?

"You..." He moved toward me as if he were about to murder me.

His palms were ready to wrap around my throat to squeeze the life out of me when, on time, I took a step back and raised my hand in surrender.
