He took two step towards the door and paused, turned around and raised a brow at me when he realized I was still mounted at my position on the chair. "Are you coming or what?"

"What?" I managed to croak out, still not believing my eyes or ears.

"Come along now before I change my mind" he told me with a sideways glance and I forced my feet to move forward and he began to head out towards the hallway, with me still following him from a safe distance just in case he even thought to pull a fast one on me.

My heart was thumping out of my chest really fast not knowing what to expect or actually think. Of all the things he had told me today, this one seem to be the most unrealistic.

Could it actually be true? That my biological mother is not death but still alive?
