Ava and Ada " Rise of the forseen prophecy"

Episode 1: THE OPENING.

We used to love each other, my sister and I. Ava and I were inseparable, two pieces in a pod; nevertheless, that changed when Alana brought news of the prophecy to my father. My mother is late, and it is only my father that we have. But ever since mom left, he hasn't been smiling; his face is also clouded by darkness and guilt over what happened on the night my sister and I were born. Our mom passed away, and she left us in the care of our dad and a few werewolf members we consider our family, as well as the others that work for my father.

"Ava, let's go!!?".

I am all dressed for school, but my sister seems to be taking her time; she never lets us leave early for the academy, and this has become her normal routine. 

"Ava!". I called out her name, and she responded in her carefree tone with a little bit of sass.

"I'm coming! Don't yell". 

Today we have Earth classes, and I don't intend to be late, for if I am tardy, I might be taken to the back of the class, and it would be impossible to listen to a thing, especially not with my sister and her loud friends potentially disrupting the class.

None of the professors can say anything, and that is because our parent is one of the founding fathers of the academy everyone in the werewolf kingdom wants to attend. 

Don't get me wrong; there are other academies, but none like ours. 

"Ava and Ada, you're late.

We barely reached the classroom when principal Jacob stopped us. He handed over to us an after-school clean-up crew for arriving at the academy late.

This is Ava's fault, but it's likely of her not to give a damn about anyone else other than herself and her rebellious friends she keeps, despite dad's and mine disapproval.

 

Professor Chichester West Earth's class has begun. And now I have to sit in the back of the class and endure my twin sisters bickering in class with their friends.

 

"Who can tell me why we study the earth?". 

A question has been thrown at the entire class. I want to answer, but it's almost going to be impossible to see my hands out of the many students offering this course. 

I didn't want to have the same classes as my sister, but Dad thought it would be a great idea to bond with her. 

Ava and I haven't been bonding like we used to back in our childhood. She has become too strict and hard, and now she hates everyone.

 

Two hours are gone, and I finally get a break from my sister's loud nature.

She and her friends are gone to the cafeteria, and I happen to spend my free period reading about history and acknowledging how awesome being a werewolf is. 

"Ada! Don't you have friends who happen to get sick while reading?" ...

The library lady, Mrs. Jones, interrupted my reading hour with her big clothes and very huge eyeglasses. I almost mistook her for an ogre.

An old one.

"Good morning, ma'am.". I giggled. "And no, I don't have friends." I said that my response is simple and straightforward.

It is not entirely true that I don't have any friends. I do, but right about now, she should be screaming and drooling over the were-ball team. 

 

"I see". The library lady carried the books that were on the table and left me to continue reading. Each time that passes, I fail to expand my mind on the historical and cultural heritage of my kind.

 

I rounded up my me-time and headed off to the court. And like I said, my best friend, Susa, and her few other girls are sitting on the bleachers, screaming the name of our academy's Justin Bieber. "Daniel Shawn, man.". 

Daniel is a handsome, proud, and egoist werewolf who has nothing to do aside from getting turned on by the constant screaming of the girls at the academy. Did I mention that he's dating my twin sister? Ava and him are an item.

"Stop ! Please stop". 

I retrieve Susa from the claws of totally becoming a crazy fan girl to a jerk as Daniel.

"Ada, my baby!". 

She exclaimed and grabbed me back to the bleachers. 

The screaming still continues even after Daniel stops playing. Is it either they actually have the lungs for screaming or the girls in the academy are as crazy as my own sister?

I shouldn't compare Ava's craziness, because she's a complete lunatic, and we happened to stay in the same house and share the same father.

 

The team was all done with their practice, and that immediately returned my best friend to me. 

 

"So! What's up?" 

We both locked hands as we approached the exit. 

It's a miracle. Susa hasn't completely lost her voice, or worse? Gone insane from screaming every single day.

"I'm good; I am just hungry." 

My tummy was starting to rumble.

"That's perfect; let's go eat and maybe go out tonight for fun!!?". .

Susa not only made one suggestion but two.

I am not against going out to have some fun; however, I don't feel safe whenever I live at home. I constantly get anxiety breakdowns that always result in me fainting and getting my parents involved.

This happened the last time, and I almost got Ava in trouble. Dad didn't know that we had sneaked out of the house without permission, and if I had had one of my episodes, I wouldn't just be in trouble; Ava would, and knowing her, she wouldn't hate me, even more than she dislikes me now.

"Susa, I don't think you'll need me tonight.". 

I politely declined her invitation to sneak out tonight.

"What, why!!?". She exclaimed, grumbling like a child who has just been refused candy or gone hunting.

"Because you know! I don't want to have one of my episodes." I explained it to her in a short and direct manner.
