I wrapped my arms around Kiara, hugging her tightly “when did I get blessed with a beauty like yourself?”
“The second your dad decided that you needed a babysitter” Kiara teased. I chuckled at her playfulness, thankful to see that side of her after her anger today, and though I knew that our argument wasn’t entirely over; I at least knew that this was a start.
“I’ll go and see Sienna” I said putting my finger under my beauty’s chin. Her eyes met mine and I smiled when I saw that her expression was somewhat more relaxed than it had been an hour ago.
“You skipped work today”
“There was nothing that the employees can’t handle. Plus, Ivan was there too” I shrugged. Kiara shook her head and stood on her toes to wrap her arms around my neck, hugging me tightly.
