Michael opened his eyes after a few hours. He sat up, squinting and scratching his eyes. He lifted himself up from the floor and tied the towel he found covering him firmly around his waist. It was dark, but the bright moonlight helped illuminate the night, so bright that a werewolf could see brightly without gleaming their wolf eyes. The rain descended heavily from the firmament, and Michael found himself standing under the cloudburst in the middle of the scanty forest; he had no idea of the exact place he was.
