Ms. Hermann is such a charming lady. I wanted to stay in bed and wait for Amy to come back but I had a feeling I was going to regret if I didn't meet her. If things go well, she might end up as my mother-in-law. It would be awesome if she would always visit us when Amy moves in with me. I know she would go along well with the other women, especially Sophia.
Amy stands behind her mother wearing an adorable smile. She watches her mother and me as we make endless chitchat.
"As much as I would like to stick around and have fun with this prince charming, I have to go. My colleagues will leave me behind and I don't want to go back home on my own," she says and gets up from the stool she was sitting on.
"Where are the rest of your colleagues? I can drive you there if you don't mind. My car is parked outside," I offer.
"Don't bother yourself. I already called in for a taxi. It will be arriving in a few minutes," she says.
"Okay. Maybe nex
AmyAfter mother and Jace leave, my apartment suddenly feels deadly quiet. I frown at the lonely feeling that starts creeping up my skin. I turn on my laptop and start with the assignments from work. I try hard to concentrate but my mind still drifts to Jace. I wonder what he is doing right now. Did he go back home. He is probably telling Sophia that I will be there this weekend. I bet she is giving him her cheeky smile and Jace mentally roles his eyes. I can't seem to bring myself to the reality that I am alone in my quiet apartment where I am supposed to be putting all my concentration to my work. What happened to me? My future and my work have always been the only things that mattered most. But after Jace, nothing seems to have the similar importance it had before.I am tempted to send him a text but he just left. He would probably think of me as the clingy type of girlfriend. I force myself to work on my assignments until four o'clock in the evening. I get up
JaceJordan and Patrick burst into the main house panting and puffing. Jose and I are startled from where we are sitting on the couch in the living room. I immediately dash to the door where they are standing."We have spotted shifters from the Redclaw pack roaming around the forest," Patrick says. His face is a mess of sweat an uncountable evidence that he has been running."What are they doing here?" I shout at nobody. I clench my fists in rage, and fight the urge to punch holes into the wall."We have no idea. We have been chasing them around the forest but I think they want us to just run around with no clear intentions," Jordan says."Did they go away?" Jose inquires from behind me."We don't know if they are gone. They just disappeared into the darkness of the thick woods and we couldn't trace them," Patrick replies."Damn it! What game is Dwayne playing at this time?" I growl through clenched teeth."We just have t
AmyJace enters my apartment with a huge grin on his face. His text from last night has been keeping me very impatient for his arrival. I am compelled to steal a glance at the clock on the wall. It is exactly nine. He is right on time, and that makes me even more anxious about what he could be up to."You are on time," I say as I close the door with fumbling fingers."For what I have in mind, I couldn't waste any second delaying," he narrows his eyes at me. My muscles tense in excitement. He engulfs me in his arms and presses me to the door."Are you going to give me a sneak peek about what it is about?" I inquire from him. He chuckles lightly and his face goes dead seriously."Not at all. There is no telling," he replies and his lips lift into a coy smile."Hmmm. I am very curious what brings you to my apartment so on time this morning," I search his eyes for clues but there is nothing but the hot lustful look in them. He inches his head ne
JaceI pull up in the driveway way past ten o'clock. Amy looks wearing a yellow sundress with her hair in a high ponytail. She seems to be occupied in her own thoughts, probably good thoughts about a few minutes ago. I smile at my own recollection of the morning."I hope Sophia is not so mad at me for making her wait for too long," Amy says while we walk to the porch."Don't worry about her. She won't be any less excited," I give her hand a reassuring squeeze and she gives me a small smile. I hope yesterday's events don't affect Amy's visit."Hi, Amy. I am so happy you made it," Sophia beams at Amy when she walks into the house."Ofcourse I had to come. I wouldn't miss coming over to see you for anything else in the world," she says with a reflected grin. Except some hot sex with Jace, I add for her though I don't say it out loud. Sophia gives her a pat on the arm and leads her out of the living room leaving me ignored as usual. I am kinda getting
AmyI feel so lightheaded after spending the entire day with these amazing ladies in Jace's kitchen. They are such good company that they make me feel at home and loved. Maybe I do belong here. Should I move in with Jace? I shake the thought off my mind. I can't believe I am even giving it a thought. It is way too early for that. I remember mom's words 'Time does not matter as long as you are with the right person'. Is Jace my right person? Should I just follow my heart and do whatever it demands? We have prepared very many dishes of food and drink. Sophia and Alexa asked Jace to invite everyone over for dinner so that the food can be eaten and not put to waste. He refused to go out and make door to door invitation until I bribed him with a kiss. Ellen has already joined us in the kitchen and abundant hugs and smiles are being shared amongst everyone. This is my happy place. I don't want to live, ever.I help set the table and carry food to the dinning roo
JaceI wake up with Amy's body wrapped around me like a vine and her sleek dark long hair covering my chest like a blanket. I caress her cheek lazily and smile at the way she snores softly into my neck. She looks impossibly beautiful, like a goddess, as she sleeps soundly in my chest. I can feel the light pressure of the slow rise and fall off her chest and the way her body feels so light on top of mine. She feels so delicate, so fragile as if she could break if she dare falls on the ground.I wish all mornings could be like this: waking up to this beautiful woman and loving her till the sun comes down. That could be arranged if she just agrees to move in with me. Why can't she just move in? I will coax her later. Now I have an important task to attend to.I wrap my arm around her and caress her bare back softly. Just the feel of her skin on my fingers radiates heat through my body and every inch of me comes awake with an explosive desire. Oh Amy! Wh
AmyJace offers to give me a tour around their house after breakfast. They own a pretty big chunk of land, and most of it is covered by woods. I just wonder why anyone would want to be surrounded by a forest. Maybe it could be the love for nature or the need to be away from the noisy town. It must have cost them a fortune."Are your parents the ones who bought this land?" I inquire from Jace who is walking beside me."No. I bought it," he replies."It must have cost you a pretty sum," I say."It did," he says with a small smile. I wonder how much more Jace owns. He must be very wealthy. Where does he get all this money? Perhaps he inherited it from his parents."What do you do for a living?" I can't stop myself from asking this time. He looks thoughtful for a moment."I used to be an artist," he replies with a coy smile, which is immediately replaced by a thoughtful expression. That is in past tense."And then what happened?" I
JaceI have been checking through my old stuff looking for any remaining artwork that I forgot to throw away. I only find two paintings which I keep in the drawer of my dresser. I hope Amy will like them. I had no idea she had any kind of interest in art. Amy never seizes to amaze me. She even got me thinking about doing art again! It is almost three o'clock when my wolf starts getting restless. Something has awoken him from his sleep."Calm down buddy," I try to soothe him but it only makes him worse. I try to ignore the feeling and head down stairs.Sophia has gone in town to get some groceries. Jose and Jordan have gone out somewhere. The house is very quiet when I reach down stairs. There is usually some noise or something clicking in the kitchen.Events of last weekend come unfiltered in my mind reminding me of my beautiful woman and the way she interacted with my family. My wolf kicks in pain and I yelp with the sudden infliction
