Chapter 18

I stared at the girl in the mirror–correction, woman. Though, was 18 really the age of an adult because it still sounded like the age of a teenager to me.

The person who stood in the mirror had long straight hair, a dull look on her face and not a care left in the world for any living being in the world. She had a heart shaped face with a slight frown set on her soft round pink lips. Her back was slouched and her arms hanging by her side as if there was a huge weight on her shoulders.

I threw my head back with a groan, walking across my mess of a room to rummage through my duffle bag for something wear. Everything was either short or tight or exposing too much skin and that was not the message that I wanted to send today.
