KAYAS POV

"That Girl got some nerve!" I said aloud to myself brushing my curls ferociously thinking back to what happened this afternoon. I placed my brush on my bed staring straight out to the balcony biting my lip. This was all my Dad’s fault for giving me such an awful stepsister.

I glanced at the time, the night was still young but tomorrow was school. It was better I got some shut-eye.

Aunt Lily had come home about an Hour ago, turns out the girl had a date with none other than Mr. Hottie Aka Caleb. She promised to give me all the details tomorrow because she was clearly exhausted. I glanced at my nightstand debating if I should take a book out and read a few more chapters but the thought of reading already put my mind to sleep.

So I switched off the lights and curled into bed.

But sleep was a stranger to me.
