❤️ ALYSSA’S POV ❤️ The sound of my ringing phone woke me up from my beautiful sleep where I was still dreaming about marrying a rich man. I groaned as I searched around for it, then picked it up when I finally got it. “Hello.” I yawned loudly. “Goodness, girl! XAVIER’S POV. I woke up and still felt love me sleeping. Damn you, Ben, I got down from my bed and entered my bathroom. I took a nice cool shower to wake up my sleepy eyes, and it did work, after my bath I walked into my walk in closet and picked a nice blue tux to wear before going downstairs when I was sure Alyssa had already left. “Good morning sir.” Mary greeted, and I nodded then went to the dining for my breakfast. “What time did the Nanny come?” I asked as the chef placed my food on the table. “She came at six thirty, sir and they left before eight.” Mary replied, and I nodded. ALYSSA’S POV. The day dragged slowly and after a long boring day; it was time to go pick Chelsea from school. I entered the already waiting Bentley and Chris drove straight to the school. “Nanny Lyssa.” Chelsea squealed as she saw me. XAVIER’S POV. My office felt so mundane without having Alyssa in it. These days I don’t know what’s wrong with me, I no longer concentrate on my work but instead my mind is always thinking about a certain sexy secretary. I want to stop it, I don’t want to think about any female, not after the promise I made to Charlotte. I can’t let her down, not after everything she went through, I will keep my promise and make sure I stay clear of any woman. A bitter smile graced my lips at the thought of her, my Lottie. I couldn’t forget her, I’ve tried, I’ve really tried, but I’m unable to forget her. ALYSSA’S POV. I stepped down from the cab and saw a familiar figure sitting on the ground crying. I walked towards the figure and squat down. “Hey, are you okay?” I asked as I touched her shoulder. She raised her head up, and I could see trails of tears on her face. “What’s wrong?” I asked again, and she sniffed. “I’ve s…something to tell you, Alyssa.” She said and sniffed again. “Go on.” I urged. She cleaned her face before looking at me. “It’s about Frank.” I paused and listened to what she was saying. I was angry, shocked, and happy. I didn’t know Frank could do such a thing to a young innocent girl. “Don’t worry, I will talk to him, although we’re not on good terms, but I’ll make sure to talk some sense into him, okay.” She nodded and wiped her tears. “Don’t cry again.” I stood up and picked her with me. “You need to go inside and rest, I’ll talk to you tomorrow.” I hugged her and watched as she entered their apartment. ALYSSA’S POV. The blaring sound of my annoying alarm woke me up from my peaceful sleep. My dreams felt so real, it was about a certain someone I have a huge crush on, and I dreamt about him kissing me like his life depended on it. Fuck you alarm. I did my usual morning routine then went to the living room, I met Mum sitting on the couch going through some ROM com. She loves watching k-dramas, and I’m also a huge fan of them, before I started working, we always had a night of movie marathon.
