If what the guys had said was true and I couldn’t trust Jaroth, then I needed to at least figure out why he had come here. He had to be here for a reason other than my father. But why? Why would he show up this late at night too?

Once I opened the back door, James glanced over Asher’s shoulder at me. I pushed through the guys, who would barely move an inch for me, and stared at my ex-boyfriend, who looked like he had rushed over here in a hurry.
