Savannah …

I was about to approach them as they were talking. Rowan seemed to be trying to persuade Cillian, but at the same time I saw Suzan, the omega maid at Rowan's house, strutting out of the cafe. Oh, wow. So, Rowan deliberately met me and he brought this bitch.

"You're officially divorced from Rowan, Savannah. Thanks to you, Rowan is finally mine."

Without shame, she approached me openly.

"Now you dare to show you who you really are, bitch." I wasn't about to give her the satisfaction of seeing me hurt.

"Sure, after the divorce, I'll take your place. Why should I hide? He prefers me over you. I can give Rowan children!"

I took a deep breath. Yep, I already knew she would use this as a weapon against me.

"Savannah, what the hell are you doing?" He yelled at me!

"Me?" I almost laughed. "She fell by herself. I didn't even touch her."

Suzan hugged Rowan, then pretended to be in pain.

"Don't blame Savannah, Rowan. She must hate me because of the divorce."

“Savannah!” Rowan stood up. His eyes glared at me. “Didn’t you agree to the divorce? Why are you hurting Suzan? It’s not her fault that you have to hurt her.”

I snorted. "I don't care about your bitch, Rowan. I wouldn't deign to dirty my hands on a common maid. Go away and take your bitch with you."

"Maybe she wants some of the assets from the divorce, Rowan. You should give them to her." Once again, Suzan was being spoiled.

"No, Suzan. Savannah has no right to my money or anything. She can't give me children. I won't give her any penny."

I was amused to hear this. I even had my own wealth without having to get it from Rowan.

"Excuse me, Rowan. I don't need your money. All I want is for you to take your bitch away from me because she makes me want to vomit."

"You slut, Savannah!"

My words made Rowan immediately swing his hand at me. He hated it when anyone defied him, especially if he considered them inferior.

I closed my eyes when Rowan's hand was moving so fast toward my face, but after a few seconds, I didn't feel anything. I slowly opened my eyes. Cillian was standing in front of me, holding Rowan's hand back from hitting my cheek.

"A-Alpha Cillian? What are you doing?" Rowan was surprised by Cillian's act. "You shouldn't defend a worthless girl like Savannah. She suddenly asked me for a divorce and manipulated everything."

Oh, wow. Rowan. He was worse than I thought.

"A worthless girl?" Cillian's voice was angry. "Who do you mean by a worthless girl, Alpha Rowan?"

"Her!" Suzan pointed at me without hesitation. "She acts like this mess is Rowan's fault. When in fact it's because she's barren!"

"Barren?" Cillian turned to me. I smiled slightly and nodded at him to play along a little in this situation. "Are you sure, Alpha Rowan?"

"Yes, Alpha Cillian." Rowan added. "We've been married for four years and Savannah hasn't given me any offspring. I have to protect my pack, so I must have offspring!"

Cillian folded his arms and smiled. He must have started to enjoy this game.

"That's why you chose to sleep with your maid and divorce your Luna, Alpha Rowan. Wow. I don't understand your taste. You and..." Cillian looked disgustedly at Suzan. "An Omega."

Suzan's face looked annoyed at Cillian's words. Of course she couldn't respond because what Cillian said was an undeniable fact.

Rowan nodded. He said something to Cillian before leaving.

"When do you have time, Alpha Cillian? I want to talk to you about something crucial."

"I don't know. I'm busy preparing for my wedding."

"You're getting married?" Rowan acted as if he had just found out.

"Um, yep. I'm getting married next month. So, you can come to my wedding. After that, I'll consider talking to you."

Rowan looked at me, but then answered Cillian.

"I'll make sure to come to your wedding, Alpha Cillian. Ah, I hope your wife can give you children, unlike Savannah."

Those words were clearly meant to provoke me. Cillian clenched his fists. He must have been furious and could have hit Rowan. I quietly held his hand so he wouldn't lose control.

Rowan left with Suzan. Once they were out of sight, I let go of Cillian's hand.

"You should let me kill him, Savannah. He's worse than I imagined!"

I felt Cillian's anger explode, even though this was his first time meeting Rowan in person. Meanwhile, I had been with him for four years.

"Don't waste your energy on unnecessary things."

I showed Cillian my divorce papers with a satisfied smile.

"I am free now."

"Perfect." Cillian's anger turned into a charming smile. "Do you have plans today?"

"Emmh, I should get my pregnancy checked."

"Oh, okay. I’m coming with you."

"Really? Aren't you busy?"

"Come on, Sav. The baby needs a doctor."

I smiled. Cillian's arm was around me. Why was I so stupid? He was always there for me, but I was chasing after useless Rowan.

"Your baby is healthy, Ma'am. I'll give you some vitamins to take regularly. Please, cut back on your activities. You can't get too tired."

I was happy to hear this good news. Meanwhile Cillian, who was sitting next to me, remained silent and watched.

"Thank you, doctor. I'm so happy to hear good news today."

"My pleasure, Ma'am. Happiness is a strong foundation for becoming a mother." The doctor looked at Cillian. "The father must also cooperate."

"The father?" I was confused about how to explain, but Cillian didn't even deny what the doctor said.

“Oh, sure. I will cooperate as a father.”

After the checkup, Cillian drove me home, but something felt off. Cillian had been silent the whole time. Even when we arrived in front of my house. He remained silent, not even looking at me.

“Cillian, is something wrong? Why have you been silent all this time?”

Cillian turned to me. Without warning, he took my hand, held it tightly.

“I can’t wait. Rowan will keep coming and make a scene. We need to move the wedding up, Savannah.”
