CHAPTER 18: OUR SON, MASON

Amber walked into the kitchen, she placed Jason's order and a couple of others more on the board.

"One hot chocolate and a meat pie for table 12," she said without looking back.

Amber's voice invaded her thoughts as she worked, she couldn't bring herself to call her name. She stood by her when she first just got to Bana, helped her emotionally and mentally. She couldn't believe she let Daniel's case cause a rift between them.

She was more determined to apologize, anything that happens after that, she would take the full responsibility for it. On the other hand, she was pretty sure Jason was causing hell of a scene outside, knowing who the kind of person he was.

She diverted her thoughts back to Amber, thinking of ways she could make it work.

"Amber," she called out in a small voice, loud enough for Amber to hear.
